When you create a Sugar Mummy Connect account, we collect the following:

This information helps us verify real users, improve the platform, and personalise your experience. Details like your name, username, photos, and sexual preference may be visible to other members on your profile.


Profile Information

We encourage all members to think carefully before sharing personal details on their profiles. We strongly advise against including email addresses, phone numbers, financial details, national ID numbers, or any other sensitive information that could be misused.

Any personal information you add to your profile or share in messages is shared at your own discretion. Please see Section 4 for more on what other members can see.


Profile Verification

To keep Sugar Mummy Connect safe and genuine, we may ask you to verify your account using your phone number or a photo. In some cases, we use facial recognition technology to compare a submitted photo against your profile photo — purely to confirm you are who you say you are.

Verification photos are not published to your profile. We retain verification scans for up to three years after your last interaction with us, after which they are securely and permanently deleted.


Payment Information

If you purchase a Premium membership or any paid feature, we will securely process and store your payment information for fraud prevention and tax/audit purposes. Sugar Mummy Connect uses automated systems to detect and block fraudulent transactions. If a payment is flagged and blocked, you will be notified and can contact our support team to contest the decision.

Please note: if your account is blocked for any reason, other accounts you hold across our platforms may also be blocked as part of our anti-fraud procedures.


Location Data

If you grant us access to your device location, we collect GPS coordinates, WiFi access point data, and related location information. This helps us show you nearby members and personalise your experience.

To turn off location access:

  • iPhone: Settings → Privacy → Location Services → [App name]
  • Android: Settings → Location → [App name] → Permissions → Location

Device Information

We may collect information about the device you use to access Sugar Mummy Connect, including the device model, operating system, and unique device identifier. With your permission, we may also access your device’s address book to help you add contacts.


Messages

Important: Your username is associated with everything you do on Sugar Mummy Connect — messages, posts, and activity. Your gender and preferences help other members find you. Your IP address, device data, and usage history help us optimise the Platform and power our matching algorithm.


Our Matching Algorithm

Sugar Mummy Connect uses a proprietary matching algorithm to suggest compatible profiles. It uses your profile details, activity data, and approximate location to generate personalised recommendations. Sensitive profile information (such as beliefs or preferences) is only processed with your explicit consent.


Moderation

We use a combination of automated systems and human moderators to review accounts, photos, and messages for breaches of our Terms of Use. Accounts found in violation may be warned, restricted, or blocked. If you post content that violates our Terms, we reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access.


3. How We Share Your Information

Sugar Mummy Connect does not sell your personal data. Ever.

We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • With other members — through your profile and messages, as part of the service
  • With trusted service providers — such as payment processors, authentication services, and IT providers, strictly for the purpose of delivering our services

Note: By default, your profile may be shared across related platforms within our network to increase your chances of finding a connection. You can opt out of this at any time in your account Data Panel.


4. What Other Members Can See

Assume that anything you post on Sugar Mummy Connect — including your profile, photos, and messages — may be visible to other members and, in some cases, the general public. Profile pictures are always public.

Be thoughtful about what you share. Sensitive details like your religion, health conditions, or political views are entirely optional. By adding them to your profile, you consent to that information being visible to other members.

We have no control over how other members may use, share, or screenshot your content once it has been viewed.


5. Age Policy

Sugar Mummy Connect is strictly for adults. You must be 18 years or older to use our Platform.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we discover that a minor has registered, we will immediately terminate their account and remove their data.


6. Security

We take the security of your personal data seriously and implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it, including encrypted servers and firewalls.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

When you delete your account:

  • Your profile is removed from the Platform
  • Most data is deleted within 30 days from live servers; backup deletion may take up to an additional 30 days
  • Some data may be retained where required by law, for fraud prevention, to resolve outstanding disputes, or for legitimate business interests

You can request full account deletion via your Data Panel or by contacting our support team. We will inform you if any data points must be retained and explain why.

Please note: Content you have previously shared with other members — or that has been copied or saved by others — may remain accessible outside our control. We cannot be held liable for such third-party retention.


Email Preferences

We may send you notifications about matches, activity on your profile, and promotional offers. You can manage exactly which emails you receive in your Email Preferences settings. Every marketing email also includes an unsubscribe link. Opting out may take up to 10 business days to take effect.


Amendments

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be published on this page and take effect immediately. We recommend checking back periodically. Your continued use of Sugar Mummy Connect after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
